Introduction into the world of Fermentools
First, I have the wonderful joy of working with Fermentools. I received a set of Fermentools in exchange for a truthful review that product. Affiliate links are provided in this post. Thank you so much for supporting my dreams of blogging. 🙂 See disclaimer.
I have a really exciting development in my adventurous journey! I am very excited about this one! It is becoming more and more clear that I really need to focus on getting a garden together because almost everything I do revolves around food! Of course I do have a strong love for food, but so do my boys and my husband. I get extra special hugs, kisses and I love you’s from my little boys for cooking something they especially love to eat.
I am hoping that I can find some really down to Earth ferments that I can add to their favorites. Not all of the kids like vegetables so this may be a challenge, but none that I have not faced before and I say challenge accepted! Plus I would love for them to learn how to ferment. The more involved they are the more willing they are to eat them!
An investment in your health & happiness!
I have a really wonderful opportunity to work with Fermentools. I have seen tools kind of like this before, but these are different. They use really amazing quality products like stainless steel lids, and real glass weights, that I must say are stunningly beautiful! I had a wonderful conversation with the owner of Fermentools and he told me how most of the parts are not only reusable, but should last you a long time!
Some things will need to be replaced along the way such as the rubber gaskets, which would be pretty cheap to buy in your local hardware store. I love that you can use these over and over. It makes this set that I have an investment in my families health and happiness!
You can also find Fermentools on Facebook. Go give them a like!

So this introduction is really just me wanting to tell you that, I am learning all about fermentation. I am currently studying/reading some books on fermenting. Have you read a good book on this you want to share with me? I am trying to find the perfect recipes, but also do my homework. Everyone has different opinions on how to ferment and because it is affected by the environment, it can and will be different for everyone, from what I can tell so far. I really want to study as much as I can so that I can nip rookie mistakes in the bud before they happen. I am not a fan of throwing away food! I want to invite you to head on over to Fermentools, to pick up some of the tools of the trade and come back here to learn new skills with me or improve or practice on an a skill you already have! I will be posting about my experiences with the new Fermentools that I have. I really do hope that you will join me, and share your experiences in the comments on the blog or Facebook, or on twitter! If you are a pro fermenter and you have some awesome recipes or tips I would love to hear those too! I am so very excited, to begin the chapter in my journey, please join me! 🙂
