The best vegetable stir fry!
I have always loved a good vegetable stir fry. I found some of the secret ingredients to a great stir fry. These are ginger, and sesame oil. As long as you have those two ingredients it is sure to be amazing, no matter what veggies you add! Of course I have to have the more obviously ingredient soy sauce, but I imagined that goes without having to say it. I do want to share with you the recipe that we enjoy so much at my homestead. I sure hope you love it too. 😉

- 1/4 inch Ginger, grated
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1/4 Cabbage, chopped
- 2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 -2 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 Carrots, sliced
- 3 Stalks Celery, sliced
- 2 Bell Peppers, sliced
- 16 oz pkg, Spaghetti Pasta
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Chop up all of the veggies.
- Place veggies and ginger powder in pan, and sauté in oil while pasta cooks.
- When pasta is done, add it to the veggies, and add soy sauce, mix well and cook for just a couple more minutes to incorporate the soy sauce.
- I like to add just a bit more sesame oil too. It just tastes so good! Yummy!
- Serve and enjoy.
I love ginger. I can remember several years ago, I did not even know how to use it. Now, I am not sure I can go without it. I love adding it especially in an Asian inspired dish. It really just gives it the best little kick!
You can add other veggies too. Broccoli is great in stir fry, for just a suggestion. There are so many to pick from, I listed my favorites to put in this recipe, but feel free to add more, or take some out and replace them with something else. The best part about cooking for me is looking at recipes and then putting my own little spin on them.
That brings up another idea, you can add chicken or other meats to this dish very easily if you wanted too. I prefer stir fry the vegetarian way most of the time. I am not a vegetarian it is just the way I prefer this dish. That is all…
