Are you wanting to make your own perfume? How about a Roll-On Bug Repellent? I have several recipes to share with you! I even have a Sleepy Time scent that I made. Check out these Homemade Roll-On Scents.

Why I Make My Own Perfumes

These Homemade Roll-On Scents are all very simple to make and take only a few minutes of your time. I started making my own perfume, because I’m allergic to many scents. If I make my own I can avoid what I am allergic to. I use a combination of essential oils to make these scents, paired with coconut oil or almond oil.

More oils to help with mood – Blend one yourself, play with the scents and find one you like!

I hope you find a scent that works well for you. The more I use essential oils the more I love them. I’ve been using an essential oil diffuser in the homeschool room, with Eucalyptus, it supposedly helps with mental clarity and memory. We’ll see I suppose!

Speaking of using a diffuser, my friend at The Prairie Homestead has a wonderful post with 3 mood boosting essential oil blends for your diffuser! I will have to try these out. Maybe it will help me be calmer when the kids are going bonkers, or maybe it will calm them down, lol.

  1. I’m a patchouli kinda girl. As a child of the 50’s/60’s it was highly popular then. I STILL love it. I wear it alone, sometimes layer it with Thieves (yep, love that spiciness). Generally, people either love it or hate it. Matters not, lol, it makes me feel good. I’m going to try the one you wear! I bet it smells wonderful! Thanks for this post. Pinning now! Cheers.

I love the smell of spicy oils too. Not a big fan of patchouli, but I have many friends that love it! It makes me happy that you found a scent that makes you happy. That is how I feel about my lavender-lemon scent. Happy Dance! Thank you Jackie for stopping by, commenting, and for sharing. It means so much! More happy dance!
