Are tacos a staple at your house? Well, they are at mine. In case you haven’t heard, mom makes the best tacos in town. That is what my little boys will tell you. I am sure my husband will agree! I like my taco seasoning recipe because it saves me money in the long run, and I can make it taste how I want it to.
The secret to making good tacos is in the seasoning, and how much seasoning you put in the meat. I put double the amount of seasoning that a packet would call for. That’s right I double up on the amazing flavor why not right?
What’s a Taco Without Toppings?
Toppings, toppings, toppings. Toppings not only help you use less of the expensive meat but they add so much depth and flavor to a taco.
Our favorite toppings are lettuce, cheese, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. We also like to add some refried pinto beans as a filler. We try to make frugal meals that are also blasted with flavor.
- Sour Cream
- Refried Beans
- Hot Sauce
- Taco Sauce
