Vertical garden planters are perfect when you don’t have space for a garden. Plants grow well in these little spaces surprisingly! You can use almost anything to create a vertical garden and today I’m going to be sharing some cool DIY ideas from across the globe and even some products you could buy to help get you started.

Recently, I was contacted by a reader who lives by a volcano that apparently never sleeps. He said his property is very limited and can’t buy more land because it’s very expensive. He asked for some help on how to garden since there isn’t much soil around a volcano, nor is there very much space.

I commented back to him, telling him a little bit about vertical gardening. But I thought it would be more helpful if I shared some photos and products, that he may be able to make or buy to help him out. I really hope and pray he is able to grow some food for himself. Also, that the volcano will go to sleep…

So, this is for my dear reader. I hope this helps you and many other who are limited on space!

Just to warn you, I can’t share Amazon prices, because it’s against their policy. The prices tend to change, so even if I did, the price may differ tomorrow or next week. The sellers can change prices as often as they like from what I understand. I tried to pick out good options of vertical garden planters that have fairly good reviews and ones that have decent prices. I’m sure we’re all on a budget right about now while gas prices soar…

Wooden Vertical Garden Planters

I just want to drop a note. Wood product are not usually my favorite to order, because as much as they say the wood is quality. Most of the time it’s not. I don’t have the product below, and they claim to use imported wood from New Zealand and Finland. However, I can’t confirm that. There was one review stating that the wood didn’t hold up very well in the elements. So be cautious when ordering wooden products.
